What Is Science Of Deduction:
This Name "SCIENCE OF DEDUCTION" is actually Deductive analysis or Logical Reasoning.
For Example:
An example of a deductive argument:
- All men are mortal.
- Kass is a man.
- Therefore, Kass is mortal.
The first premise states that all objects classified as "men" have the attribute "mortal". The second premise states that "Kass" is classified as a "man" – a member of the set "men". The conclusion then states that "Kass" must be "mortal" because he inherits this attribute from his classification as a "man". [Source:wikipedia link]
This Name "SCIENCE OF DEDUCTION" Its named by T.V. series Sherlock Holmes By Steven Moffat. In this blog we will be learning about deductive reasoning Or logical reasoning ..we will make this thing as easy as possible and we will use deduction techniques in real life to get benefits
this Technique use following steps:
1- Observation:
The very basic but very important skill you need... if you have very sharp observation skills you gonna make it very soon if You don't have Then Do not worry just practice. and Observe any thing around you even in little and minor and negligible things Remember!! Do NOT miss Any thing in observing the subject and site you are working on or you are looking in.
2- Points deductions form subject:
After observing subject and things .. memorize them or write them down all even a little
this is very second step of analysis .for example a man sitting on chair near window reading book named quantum mechanics and have shady glasses on his face and a blow tie age between 35-45 black hat on his head . there is a table near that chair on that table 4 or more engineering books are placed .
3- Collecting Clues from subject:
Once you finish writing and collecting the possible points You see in subject then .. start thinking in your mind and find the reason WHY about the points you noticed in a subject,. in 2nd step we observed 11 points from a Case. now its time to know why these points are there . just count on probabilities.
Now the points we have here in this case are:
1) A man
2) Sitting near window
3) Reading book
4) Book name: quantum mechanics.
5) Glasses on his face
6) Bow tie
7) Sitting style
8) Age b/w 35 to 45
9) Black hat on his head
10) Table full of books
11) Engineering Books
Now we have points from a subject and now we can head towards step Four.
4- Applying Logical Reasoning Technique (such as Law Of Syllogism):
Find why in all things and connect to reasons to make your deduction more efficient.
here is the case which we observed.we will find possible reasons with help of evidence and reasons
1) A man:
Haha!! yes a man a women can be a different and depending subject :)
male and female are different Things :) it depends alot
male and female are different Things :) it depends alot
2) Sitting near window:
May be he Love to read in day light or may be he want to see out side who is coming and who is going
or may be just he is there because of nothing ... it will be depend moreover on house or house arrangements.
3) Reading book:
He reads to pass his time may be he is retired from his job. or just love reading
4) Book name: quantum mechanics:
he is kind of geeky .. love science stuff and physics..results count on more details
5) Glasses on his face:
He have weak eyesight and can not see from near.. could be possible he was disobedient to his parents.
6) Bow tie:
he is old age . love romance
7) Sitting style:
it depends on man's nature . and evidence
8) Age b/w 35 to 45:
We can have age concerns later to know more about his personality.
9) Black hat on his head:
There is probability that he loves old fashion. or depend on details
or may be his past was glorious
or may be his past was glorious
10) Table full of books:
Defiantly he love books.. reading ... o could also possible he use them to kill time
or gain knowledge.
11) Engineering Books:
May be or could be he is engineer and in field of physics probably.
5- Connecting Dots:
Now after doing step 1,2,3 and 4 Connect up all the things reasons you observed deducted (on biases of probability . sum up all things and head towards step 6
6- Defining Story:
After connecting dots you need to make a story on what and why you seen all in subject
it is necessary To make story out of your deductions because it will be more effective and will be very helpful in understanding events,.
it is very easy every one can be trained and be skilled
And a Use little Mind
That's All..!
